Meet Darlene Gray, SLP

Hi, I’m Darlene Gray, a passionate and dedicated licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 25 years of experience working in schools and clinics in both New York and Florida. Before moving to Florida, I ran a private practice in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I’ve been fortunate to have collaborated with amazing teams of teachers, therapists, and parents throughout my career. Now, I’m thrilled to offer private speech and language therapy evaluations and treatment services right here in sunny Fort Lauderdale.

My approach is carefully personalized, firmly grounded in the latest evidence-based practices, and always centered around each family’s unique needs and goals. I specialize in supporting children who face various challenges in speech, language, feeding, and oral-motor development, including those on the autism spectrum and children with apraxia. I draw from advanced training in PROMPT, Orton Gillingham, The Hanen Program, and Talk Tools to create engaging and effective therapy experiences.
